Who is Murray McBride?
Murray Arndell McBride was a Liberal party member of the Canadian House of Commons. He was an author and clergyperson by career.
He was first elected at the Lanark and Renfrew riding in the 1968 general election and served only one term, the 28th Canadian Parliament. McBride was defeated in the 1972 election by Paul Dick of the Progressive Conservative party at the riding which became Lanark—Renfrew—Carleton. McBride campaigned for election in the High Park--Humber Valley riding, but was also unsuccessful then. He has not contested for a Parliamentary seat since.
