Who is Murray R. Spiegel?
Murray Ralph Spiegel was an author of technical books on applied mathematics, including a popular collection of Schaum's Outlines.
Spiegel received his Ph.D. in 1949 from Cornell University. He taught at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and in 1957 became a full professor there.
