Who is Natasha Wescoat?

Natasha Wescoat is a Detroit-based painter, known for her distinctive, whimsical swirling landscapes and her "Jeweled Trees" which feature her unique swirling trees with round foliage. Her works are acrylic paintings painted on canvas, and her style has been described as a fusion of Art Nouveau and post-Impressionism.

Wescoat studied painting and design for two years at Delta College, but proclaimed to be self-taught from an early age. She cites the influences of Gustav Klimt, Tim Burton and Takashi Murakami. Wescoat has created art for television such as Lifetime Network and Hollywood films like Marley & Me.
