Who is Neil Farbstein?

Neil Farbstein (b. Brooklyn, New York) is an American scientist. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of California after double majoring in biology and psychology. He is president of the nano/biotechnology firm Vulvox Nanobiotechnology Corporation; it is incorporated in New York. Vulvox is based on Long Island.. He has a lifelong interest in politics; he was a United States Democratic Party candidate for governor of New York State. He is member of Americans For Legal Reform. His campaign centered on a platform that includes taxing the wealthy to keep social security solvent, busting the New York State Office of Professions, investigating the New York State Human Rights Division, protecting civil rights, and protecting people’s rights to sue lawyers, doctors, and others. He advocates legalizing marijuana for medical uses.

Mr. Farbstein has four patents pending on inventions detailed on the Vulvox website. They include a carbon nanotube adhesive manufactured from aligned carbon nanotubes, a high strength honeycomb composite that resists impacts from flying objects, a breakthrough solar power generation systems that is capable of doubling the amount of electricity from solar power towers. His latest patent covers a breakthrough energy storage system that can save 4% or more of all energy used in the world. High power scanning electron micrographs of the carbon nanotube adhesive are shown on the Vulvox website as are pictures of the adhesive in action. He has performed research on viral reverse transcriptase action and he has designed and tested a novel primer for MLV reverse transcriptase.

Mr. Farbstein describes himself as a middle of the road person in his political views and mainstream scientific thinker who does not believe there is real evidence for dark matter made up of exotic types of matter. He is the editor of a google group website called “The Last Resort” http://groups.google.com/group/the-last-resort-to-greenhouse-warming/feeds that has discussions about greenhouse warming and possible solutions to abate the greenhouse effect. He is currently writing a book of humor.
