Who is Nian Weisi?

Nian Weisi is a renowned Chinese association football manager and former international football player. He is best known for his time as the Chinese national football team's manager, which he managed intermittently for over twenty years. Since retiring from professional football, he became the Chinese Football Association president in April, 1988 and held on to this appointment until he retired in August, 1994. He has still remained in the sport, most recently in his participation and promotion of the 2008 Summer Olympics.
