Who is Nick Catalano?
Dr. Nick Catalano is a professor of Literature and Music at Pace University in Pleasantville, New York and lives in New York City, East Hampton N.Y.and Delray Beach Fla.
He is director of the university's Performing Arts Music and Literature Program. He is a music columnist, book reviewer, film and media essayist, television and film writer/producer of documentaries.
He is the author of Clifford Brown : The Life and Art of the Legendary Jazz Trumpeter He is also the author of "New York Nights" a book about writing, performing and producing in Gotham.In 1988 he crewed on a sailing circumnavigation of the world. His novel "A New Yorker at Sea" is an account of this voyage.
