Nikolaos Xydias Typaldos was a Greek painter. Born in Cefallonia, he studied in Italy and in Paris at the École des Beaux-Arts; he lived in France until returning to Greece in the 1890s; he died in Athens. He remained an academic artist throughout most of his career.
