Who is Nora England?
Nora Clearman England is an American linguist, Mayanist, and Dallas TACA Centennial Professor at University of Texas at Austin.
She graduated from the University of Florida with a Ph.D. She taught at the University of Iowa. She led a workshop, and field visit to Iximche, attended by Linda Schele and Nicholai Grube. She is founding director of the Center for Indigenous Languages of Latin America.
