Who is Oliver Hoyte?

Oliver Hoyte is an American football linebacker in the National Football League. He was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2006. After earning a roster spot as a reserve linebacker and a solid special teams prospect, Hoyte took advantage of a mid-season position switch to fullback and performed with a high level of productivity. After a rookie year of learning under fire, Hoyte racked up 19 starts at fullback and saw plenty of action with the Dallas regular offense during 2006 and 2007 campaign. He eventually grew into a key role player on an offensive unit that enjoyed one of the most productive seasons in club history. He played college football at North Carolina State.
