Who was Paddy Chambers?

Paddy Chambers was an English lead guitarist and vocalist from the Merseybeat era.

With an early 1960s band of his, Steve Bennett and the Syndicate, Patrick John Chambers appeared at The 2i's Coffee Bar in 1961. He was also member of Faron's Flamingos, The Big Three, The Krew, The Eyes that evolved to Paddy, Klaus and Gibson when Klaus Voormann replaced Collins. They were managed by Brian Epstein. After they split in May 1966, Chambers joined The Escorts.

Chambers was born in Liverpool, and died of cancer in September 2000, aged 56.
