Who is Patricia Petersen?

Patricia May Petersen is the Leader and founder of the Australian Independents, a political party in Australia, academic and celebrity. She is a lecturer in economics and Politics and is a Fellow at the University of Melbourne. She is an author, playwright, director, producer, actress, model, musician and artist. Dr Petersen was awarded Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Queensland on October 11, 2002. She has written several plays, including two about running against Tony Abbott, the Prime Minister of Australia. She is also a relationships counsellor,having worked for Brisbane radio station B105 and Sydney radio station 2UE and was a panellist on the Australian television show Beauty and the Beast.
