Who is Patrick Horgan?
Patrick Horgan is an Irish hurler who plays as a full-forward for the Cork senior team.
Born in Blackpool, Cork, Horgan first excelled at hurling whilst at school in the North Monastery. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Cork minor team, before later lining out with the under-21 side. He made his senior debut in the 2008 National Hurling League. Horgan has since gone on to play a key part for Cork as one of the team's top scorers, however, he has enjoyed little success in terms of silverware.
As a member of the Munster inter-provincial team for two years, Horgan has won one Railway Cup medal. At club level he plays with Glen Rovers.
