Who is Paddy McGuinness?

Patrick Joseph McGuinness known as Paddy McGuinness is an English comedian, comedy actor, television personality and presenter, best known for his roles within ITV and Channel 4, most famously as the host of Take Me Out.

Paddy has presented several primetime shows for ITV including Take Me Out since 2010, 71 Degrees North in 2010 and Your Face Sounds Familiar since 2013. Paddy currently co-hosts the Christmas charity telethon Text Santa on ITV. He has also presented several primetime Channel 4 programmes such as Hotel GB in 2012 and Paddy's TV Guide in 2013.

Among other roles, Paddy has guest presented on daytime shows including The Paul O'Grady Show in 2006 and This Morning, where he was a regular stand-in presenter in 2010 and 2011. Paddy is most famous for his work alongside Peter Kay who knew Paddy when he was younger and invited him to be in his shows That Peter Kay Thing, Phoenix Nights and Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere which led to him being noticed and his future successful career.
