Who is Patrick Oboya?
Patrick Oboya Onyango is a Kenyan football striker who is currently plays for Gor Mahia. He played last for Slovak Corgoň Liga club MFK Ružomberok.
He was born in Mukuru kwa Njenga slum of Nairobi. Aa a junior, he played with a local slum team Young Spiders, and for Kamukunji High School.
Before moving abroad, Oboya played for two Kenyan Premier League clubs. He joined AFC Leopards in September 2005 before transferring to Tusker FC in January 2006 and moved on February 2007 to Czech team FK SIAD Most. In January 2012, he joined Slovak club MFK Ružomberok on three-year contractMFK Ružomberok.
He has made 32 appearances for the Kenya national football team, the Harambee Stars and scored two goals. He was the top scorer for Kenya in the qualifiers for Ghana 2008 with two goals.
