Who is Paulie Malignaggi?
Paul "Paulie" Malignaggi is an Italian American professional boxer. He is a former IBF Light Welterweight and WBA Welterweight Champion. His nickname is "Magic Man". Malignaggi was born in Brooklyn but his Italian immigrant parents moved back to Syracuse, Sicily when Paulie was only a few months old. Six years later, after Paulie's brother Umberto was born, the family decided to move back to the United States, but Paulie's professional soccer playing father stayed for only a few weeks before returning to Italy.
