Who is Paul Schaut?

Paul serves as an independent advisor to venture backed technology

companies and brings more than 23 years of sales, marketing and

executive management experience as well as a deep expertise in the

technology, digital and mobile marketing industries. Paul has served as

CEO for several companies including Tira Wireless (mobile porting

technology enabler), Performaworks (enterprise goal and performance

management solutions) and Engage (broad based digital marketing thought

leader). Paul’s most intense base of experience occurred during the

heavy growth years of the internet while serving as CEO of Engage,

where he led the company through a dramatic growth period, including

the integration of ten acquisitions, worldwide expansion, and a

successful initial public offering. Paul is a Director of several

private software companies and is an angel investor in numerous private

technology companies. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in

Business Administration from San Jose State University.
