Who was Pauline Duchambge?

Pauline Duchambge née de Montet was a French pianist and composer. Antoinette-Pauline de Montet was born into a wealthy family in Martinique, West Indies. She lived for a while in a convent but left in 1792 and married the Baron Duchambge in 1796. Both her parents died in 1798. She and her husband later divorced and she supported herself as a musician and composer.
