Who was Peggy Saunders?
Margaret “Peggy” Saunders was a British tennis player of the 1920s. She is also known under her married name, Peggy Saunders-Michell.
Along with Phoebe Holcroft Watson, she won the women's doubles at Wimbledon twice consecutively in and the US Women's National Championship in 1929.
With the same partner, she reached the final at Roland Garros in 1927.
