Who is Pete Shinnick?
Pete Shinnick is the head coach of the University of West Florida Argonauts college football team in Pensacola, Florida, which is expected to begin play in 2016. Shinnick previously served as the head coach of UNC Pembroke in Pembroke, North Carolina between 2005 and 2014 as well as the NAIA's Azusa Pacific Cougars between 1999 and 2005. After leading the Cougars to an overall record of 53 wins to only 22 losses as head coach between 1999–2005, Shinnick was hired as UNC Pembroke's first head coach on December 13, 2005. Over five seasons at Pembroke, Shinnick has compiled an overall record of 34 wins to only 18 losses.
