Who is Peter Ewens?

As the Vice-President of Sun's Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)

Group, Peter Ewens is responsible for driving growth by delivering

value from software, products and solutions to our OEM customers

through economies of scale in standardized technology and integrated

solutions, thereby enabling our customers to focus their resources on

their core business. The OEM Group provides dedicated support and

services to meet the unique needs of OEM customers, and distinctive

platform solutions for the OEM market. Sun is extending its OEM

leadership position by adapting its leading edge product innovation to

new OEM market segments, and expanding the portfolio of unique OEM

solutions.Prior to joining Sun, Peter was a partner at McKinsey

Company, a global strategy consultancy. At McKinsey, Peter

focused on serving leading players in the telecommuncations industry on

issues of corporate and business unit strategy, and operations

effectiveness, bringing deep expertise in telecommunications, strategy

and business development skills to his new role at Sun.Peter

holds a Master's Degree in Management from MIT and a graduate degree in

Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto. Peter resides in

Dallas, Texas with his wife and daughter.
