Who is Peter Filandia?

Peter Filandia is a former Australian rules footballer. He started his career in 1992 at Essendon but left the club at the end of 1992. After not playing the following year he was recruited to the Sydney Swans from Essendon at pick 6 in the 1994 pre-season draft.

Following the completion of his AFL career in 2000, Filandia joined Port Melbourne Football Club as its captain and assistant coach. He was notable for being suspended for 10 matches after admitting he bit opponent Chad Davis' scrotum during a match.

He is currently the runner for the Western Bulldogs.
