Peter Carl Gutwein is an Australian politician. He has been a Liberal Party of Australia member of the Tasmanian House of Assembly since 2002, and is currently the state Treasurer.
Currently he holds the position of Shadow Treasurer and Shadow Minister for Forestry and Industry. A financial adviser he was a senior manager in the insurance and financial planning sector working throughout Australia and in Europe and was also involved in the Tourism industry before entering parliament.
