Who is Peter Ingram?
Peter John Ingram is a cricket player from New Zealand, who plays for Central Districts. He is a right-handed batsman who has enjoyed considerable success on the domestic scene in recent seasons. He is a right arm off spin bowler. He also plays for Taranaki in the Hawke Cup. In the 2009-10 HRV Cup Final, Ingram hit 54 off 36 to help the Central Stags claim the title. He is married and had his first son on 28 December 2007. Ingram also taught at New Plymouth's Francis Douglas Memorial College, teaching Technology and in 2014 began teaching at Waitara High School, also teaching Metal Tech.
In January 2010, he was selected for the Black Caps 20/20 and ODI squads. In The Chappell Hadlee Series in March, Ingram scored 40 runs with a strike rate of 97.56 which was crucial to New Zealand's thriller win by 2 wickets.
