Who is Peter Markstedt?

Peter Markstedt is a former Swedish footballer.

During his career he played for Västerås SK Fotboll, Barnsley F.C., Helsingborgs IF, Hammarby IF, and FC Lyn Oslo. He only played a handful of games for Barnsley, but featured in some of their most memorable games of recent history. He played the full 90 minutes in their shock 1-0 win against Liverpool at Anfield in November 1997, a game which was also his debut. He also played the whole match as Barnsley knocked Manchester United out of the FA Cup later that same season.
