Peter Somerville is a former Australian rules footballer who appeared 160 times for Essendon in the AFL throughout the 1990s.

A ruckman, and son of John Somerville, he shared rucking duties with Paul Salmon for much of his career. He was premiership player with Essendon and represented Victoria in 1991 and was we'll known for he's amazing high leaping marks.
