Peter T. Traynor

Who is Peter T. Traynor?

Peter Traynor joined Genzyme in 2001. He has worldwide responsibility

for all controllership functions, including SEC filings, accounting

policies and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Prior to joining Genzyme, Mr.

Traynor served as vice president and chief financial officer of Trellix

Corporation in Concord, Massachusetts. He has also held a variety of

roles at Lotus Development Corporation, including positions in Europe.

Mr. Traynor has an M.S. from Bentley College and a B.A. from the

University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is also a C.P.A.: State of

California.
