Hogan is an English sports therapist, and professional rugby league footballer of the 1970s, '80s and '90s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Holker Pioneers ARLFC, Barrow, and Hull Kingston Rovers, as a Second-row, or Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 11 or 12, or 13, during the era of contested scrums.
