Who was Pietro Ostini?
Pietro Ostini was an Italian papal diplomat and Cardinal.
He was nuncio in Switzerland and became titular archbishop of Tarso in 1827. He was then nuncio in Brazil and Austro-Hungary.
He was created Cardinal in 1831, and became bishop of Jesi in 1836. He became bishop of Albano in 1843.
