Who is Piotr Murdzia?
Piotr Murdzia is a chess International Master from Poland.
He was awarded the IM title in 1994. He won tournaments in Świdnica and Legnica making two grandmaster's norms.
He is known as one of the best solvers in the world. He has won the World Chess Solving Championship five times and placed second three times. He also won the gold medal three times in the team event of the same competition. In 2006 he won the European Chess Solving Championship in Warsaw.
In the Solvers' rating list of PCCC, July 2012, he is the first with 2767 points.
