Who is Piyush Gupta?

Piyush Gupta has a proven record of delivering

enterprise software to the marketplace over the last 20 years. Prior to

Exeros, Piyush Gupta was founder and CEO of Promeria Software, a venture

funded supplier of eSourcing software for the procurement of direct

materials, sold to Ariba during 2004. Prior to catching the

entrepreneurial bug in 1999, Piyush Gupta was a Vice-President at Informix

Software where he managed a software organization of 200 people with

cradle to grave responsibility for several product areas including

database servers, middleware and systems management. Prior to that, he held various technical and management positions at the IBM

Corporation. He was responsible for delivering IBM's pioneering

enterprise information integration (EII) product, DataJoiner, to the

market in 1995. Piyush Gupta started his IBM career at the Thomas J.

Watson Research Center. Early in his career, he spent three years

developing real-time software at Schlumberger. Mr. Gupta holds a

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from The Indian Institute of

Technology-Kanpur, a Masters in Computer Science from The University of

Texas-Austin and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
