Who was Pope Gregory XII?
Pope Gregory XII, born Angelo Correr or Corraro, was the head of the Catholic Church from 30 November 1406 to July 1415 when he was forced to resign to end the Western Schism. He succeeded Pope Innocent VII and in turn was succeeded by Pope Martin V.
