Rafael Luis Bras is an American civil engineer best known for his contributions in soil-vegetation-atmosphere system modeling. He currently serves as provost and executive vice president for Academic Affairs at the Georgia Institute of Technology, while maintaining faculty appointments in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
