Rai Hassan Nawaz is one of the most influential politicians in Sahiwal, a district in Punjab province of Pakistan.He is currently the member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led by crickter turned politician Imran Khan. He is a sitting Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan. He has had an impeccably successful political career and to this date has only lost one election – December 2012 By-Election. He has been elected as the chairman of MC, Chichawatni in 1988 and as MPA of Punjab Assembly in 1988,1990 and 1997. He became the DistrictNazim of the District of Sahiwal twice in a row. The second time after defeating PML Q's government single handidly. Rai Hassan Nawaz has twice been District Nazim of Sahiwal and still a key player in Politics of Sahiwal.
