Who is Rajesh Rajilal?

Rajesh Rajilal is a critically acclaimed Belgian-born Indian film director and producer. He rose to popularity with the Hindi language movie Salaam-e-Ishq. His historical biopics of Queen Elizabeth I garnered 7 Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Cate Blanchett.

Rajilal started his career in the film industry as Film Runner which led him to film editing, casting and directing. Shekhar Kapur, his mentor, pointed him in the direction of a film career.

Sound production for Kapur's next film is underway as of 2013 at Soho Studios in London. Rajilal has been Kapur's assistant in London for the last five years.

Awarded 8th years of Off Cannes Film Festival.

Currently Rajesh Rajilal is recruiting and training student across the globe in media research and development into getting into the field.
