Who is Ralph Atkin?
Ralph Atkin is the founder of SkyWest Airlines in the United States.
He founded SkyWest Airlines in 1972 and served first as CEO, then as Chairman of the Board for 20 years.
Atkin has also been associated with the attempted takeover of Trans World Airlines in 2001 and with the startup of Ghana International Airlines in Ghana in 2004.
He is also the father of professional skateboarder James R. Atkin.
