Who is Ravinder Bhogal?
Ravinder Bhogal is an award winning UK TV chef, food writer and stylist.
She is best known for being named by Gordon Ramsay as his new Fanny Cradock, on The F Word.
Her debut book Cook in Boots won the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards for the UK’s Best First Cookbook and was awarded the first runners-up prize of the World’s Best First Cookbook at the Paris Cookbook Fair in February 2010. The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards feature around 26,000 books from 136 countries.
BBC programme Desi DNA had its highest viewing figures when Ravinder presented a two-parter entitled "The Great British Curry Trail". The show followed her travelling across the country to find out how Britain fell in love with Indian food.
Cook in Boots was released in 2009 by Harper Collins. Her second book is due for release in 2010.
Ravinder lives in South East London.
