Who is Rex Sellers?

Rex Samuel Sellers, MNZM, is a yachtman from New Zealand. He won a gold medal in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, and a silver medal in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.

Sellers attended Nelson College from 1965 to 1967.

He was appointed Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the New Year Honours 2010, for services to yachting.
