Rezaul Karim Hira was elected as member of parliament in 1996 and 2001 National elections. He served as a member of the standing committee on cultural ministry in the eighth parliament.
In his electoral pledges, he said that he would implement the long-standing demand to build a bridge in Nandina Ferighat.
Rezaul Karim Hira is a freedom fighter of Bangladesh Liberation War at 1971.
