Who is Robert T. Anderson?
Robert T. Anderson was the 42nd Lieutenant Governor of Iowa from 1983 to 1987. He is a Democrat. To date he is the last male Lt. Governor of Iowa. Anderson was the first Democrat in Iowa history elected Lieutenant Governor alongside a Republican Governor. Anderson received his bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Iowa. He was also a high school teacher, and served in the Iowa House of Representatives. In 1987 he was a founder and executive director of the Iowa Peace Institute. He created the IRIS, Inc.
