Who is Roger Thomas Howe?

Roger Thomas Howe is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. He received the Ph.D. degree from UC Berkeley and taught at M.I.T. before returning to Berkeley for his teaching career until 2006, when he moved to Stanford. He is well known for his contributions to the field of silicon micromachining and is often identified as one of the forefathers of Micro-electro-mechanical-systems, and is highly regarded as one of the top professors at Stanford University.
