Who was Romana Calligaris?
Romana Calligaris was an Italian freestyle swimmer. She competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics.
At the games of 1952 she was eliminated in the final standings of both the 100 metre freestyle and 4x100 m freestyle relay.
The pool which hosted the European SC Championships 2005 in Trieste is named after her.
