Who is Ronald Hovsepian?
Ronald W. Hovsepian is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of IntraLinks Inc., a global provider of virtual data rooms.
Hovsepian was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Novell, Inc. After the acquisition of Novell by Attachmate Corporation closed, Hovsepian left Novell on April 25, 2011. Novell itself was delisted from the stock exchange and taken private.
Hovsepian held management and executive positions at IBM Corporation just under a 17 year period, including Worldwide General Manager in IBM Marketing and Services for the Distribution Industry segment, managing software development, sales and marketing, and services.
After leaving IBM, he served as a Managing Director of Internet Capital Group, a venture capital firm founded by Ken Fox and Walter Buckley, before joining Novell in June 2003.
Hovsepian is non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ann Taylor Corporation. Hovsepian received a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College.
He led the negotiations that resulted in the controversial Microsoft and Novell deal that was announced in October 2006.
