Who is Ross Tong?
Ross Tong is a former New Zealand rower who won an Olympic Bronze medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Along with Don Symon, Kevin Lawton, Barrie Mabbott and Brett Hollister Tong won the Bronze medal in the coxed four. Tong is Now head of Sport at St Johns College Hamilton and continues in rowing now coaching. Tong competes in the Warcraft III: Frozen Throne battle of Hamilton each year at the Netcafix in Garden Place, and came first place in 2010. He also won the Hillcrest Hotdog Eating competition in August of 2013, being the only person to have ever consumed 42 hotdogs in the time set, smashing the previous record
