Who is Rüdiger Helm?
Rüdiger Helm was an East German sprint canoer who competed from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won six medals which included three golds and three bronzes.
Helm also won 19 medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with ten golds, six silvers, and three bronzes.
