Who was Rui Torres?
Rutilio Torres Mantecón, also known as Rui Torres was an artist known by being the presenter for the first and second seasons of the Latin American version of the educational–artistic TV show Art Attack of the TV channel Disney Channel.
Later, he was replaced by the Spanish Jordi Cruz who was subsequently dubbed in order to neutralize his Spanish accent.
Since October 2008, Neil Buchanan has worked as presenter in the Latin American dubbed version by Disney Channel.
After recording the two Art Attack seasons in London, Torres decided to go back to Mexico, to dedicate more time to his family and friends, and mostly to continue his studies in the Architecture career.
He was named Outstanding student of the ITAM, where he studied Telematics Engineering, he was a beneficiary of one of the most coveted scholarships for excellence in the institution: the scholarship Raul Ballero [sic, by Raúl Baillères Jr.].
