Who was Ruth Hauser?
Ruth Hauser was born Ruth Elizabeth Neudorf in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She toured the world as a member of the Reg Kehoe and his Marimba Queens musical group. In 1946, Ruth married Charles Fritz Hauser, a young Naval officer whom she met on tour, and relocated to New York State.
