Who is S. Semmalai?
S. Semmalai is an Indian politician and incumbent member of the Parliament of India from Salem Constituency. Previously, he was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly from Taramangalam constituency as an Independent candidate in 1980 election, and as an Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in 1984 election. He was elected from Omalur constituency as an Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in 2001 election.
