Who is Salem Al Fakir?
Lars Salem Al Fakir is a Swedish soul/pop musician and singer of paternal Syrian origin. He is most famous for his chart topping albums This Is Who I Am, Astronaut and Ignore This. He took part in Melodifestivalen 2010 with "Keep on Walking" finishing second behind winner Anna Bergendahl. Internationally he is known for his song "It's True", which was remixed by Swedish house DJs Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, and for being featured as a vocalist in the Avicii songs "Silhouette" and "You Make Me", both of which were hits in many countries including the United Kingdom and the United States.
