Who was Salma Sobhan?
Salma Sobhan, Bengali: সালমা সোবহান, was a prominent Bangladeshi female barrister, academic and human rights advocate. A member of the Law Faculty of Dhaka University, she was one of the co-founders of Ain-O-Salish Kendra, one of the country's leading civil rights organizations.
