Samir al-Rifai was a six-time Prime Minister of Jordan.
Al-Rifai served under Kings Abdullah I, Talal and Hussein:
Prime Minister of the Emirate of Transjordan from October 15, 1944 to May 19, 1945
Prime Minister of the Emirate of Transjordan from May 19, 1945 to May 25, 1946
Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from December 4, 1950 to July 25, 1951
Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from January 8, 1956 to May 22, 1956
Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from May 18, 1958 to May 6, 1959
Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from March 27, 1963 to April 21, 1963
He was the father of Prime Minister Zaid al-Rifai and the grandfather of Prime Minister Samir Rifai.
